Terms of Service (Day-0)

These Day-0 terms are a placeholder and will be refined as the product matures. If a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement prevails.

1. Service overview

aby.dev provides a secure data collection pipeline. Features and availability may change as we iterate.

2. Accounts and access

If accounts are provided, we expect users to:

  • provide accurate information
  • keep credentials secure
  • use the service only for lawful purposes

3. Customer content

“Customer content” means the data submitted through forms or otherwise provided by the customer.

The customer is responsible for:

  • having the right to collect and submit the content
  • ensuring notices/consents are provided where required
  • the content’s legality and compliance

We process customer content to provide the service and do not claim ownership of customer content.

4. Acceptable use

We may restrict or suspend use if the service is used to:

  • violate laws or rights of others
  • distribute malware or attempt unauthorized access
  • interfere with service integrity or other customers

5. Security and availability

We aim to protect customer content and operate reliably, but no service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Planned maintenance and updates may occur.

6. Fees

If paid plans exist, pricing and billing terms will be presented on the pricing page or in an order form. Taxes may apply.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Customers may stop using the service at any time. Data export/deletion handling will be specified as product capabilities are finalized.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not provide legal or compliance advice.

9. Limitation of liability

Liability limitations will be defined more precisely before broad commercial launch. Where permitted by law, liability is limited to direct damages and excludes indirect or consequential damages.
